Truckload of Warmth from Two Men and a Truck
On Thursday, Two Men and a Truck delivered 15 boxes for all of our therapeutic foster children, independent living young adults as well as campus residents. Fifteen boxes of winter coats resulted in 200 much warmer foster kids. We are still overwhelmed by their example of generosity and several other Birmingham businesses who participated in the #TruckLoadofWarmth coat drive.
Other businesses who participated were Gold's Gym, The Heavenly Donut Co., MC2 Realty, Hoover Park and Recreation Center, Hoover Senior Center and Hometown Lenders. We also want to give a shoutout to former board member Richard McBee for our connection with movers who care.
